Hilscher-Clarke Electric Company, a 106-year-old electrical contractor with its corporate headquarters based in Canton Ohio realizes the opportunity when it meets a culture fit. Cochran electric, a 40+ year old family-owned company represents that fit. For several years HC has been working in the Columbus market performing electrical construction mainly in the data center market. Its history however was born in the heavy industrial markets of northern Ohio 106 years ago. HC’s historical root’s servicing the heavy steel, chemical, food processing, and manufacturing industries mixed with its current commercial backlog will provide unmatched experience in the area. This experience mixed with Cochran’s culture and trusted relationships around the growing city of Columbus seemed to be a perfect match. Bill and Donna Cochran along with their team of loyal employees have driven a solid business in Columbus centered in Powell Ohio. When the leadership from each company met for the first time, cultural alignment was immediately apparent.
